Fitness Test
The benefits of these tests are:
- To screen for any serious problems which may be affected by intense activity.
- To establish a baseline of present fitness levels, to highlight strengths and areas that require improvement.
- To aid in prescribing suitable and appropriate exercises when designing an individual programme.
- To motivate towards individually set goals by monitoring progress.
Fitness Testing is only one element of personal training and tests will only be carried out if they are appropriate to an individuals needs, goals and capabilities.
The purpose of Fitness Testing is:-
- To help design a training program that is safe and effective.
- To monitor the improvements made.

- Resting Heart Rate
- Blood Pressure
- Body Fat %
- Waist / Hip Measurements
- Flexibility
- Muscular Strength/Endurance
- Aerobic Fitness
